About the Garde bruxelloise

Providing a responsive and accessible on-call medical service in Brussels

The non-profit organisation GBBW, or Garde bruxelloise, is a general medical on-call service covering the 19 municipalities of the Brussels Region.

Our role is to coordinate and organise a fixed and mobile on-call service in Brussels.

Consultations, without appointment, are given by general practitioners who can respond to all needs in French, Dutch or English. The Garde bruxelloise has seven medical posts open in the evenings, at weekends and on public holidays. They are located at key points in the various municipalities so that they are easily accessible.

Doctors also make home visits at night, on weekends and on public holidays. Our rates are regulated, and each service is largely covered by your health insurance.
