About GBBW

The non-profit-making association GBBW is in charge of the organisation, coordination and promotion of the out-of-hours service for medical doctors/general practitioners (MD/GPs) in the Brussels-Capital Region. A team of professionals is in charge of the coordination and administrative management of the out-of-hours MD/GP medical posts and the on-duty mobile doctors' service (performing home visits). The phone number 1733 answers all calls for medical queries from Brussels inhabitants in either French, Dutch or English, as per caller's choice.

The medical assistance within our out-of-hours medical service (whether in a medical post or via home visits) is provided by experienced MD/GPs.

Consultations are provided in the evenings, at night, on weekends and on bank holidays. The service provides first-line medical care for everyone and at the officially-defined fees.
